Mt Zion is a church where our Lutheran members as well as new Christians gather to receive the Gospel gifts available in preaching, teaching, and sacrament.
VBS is almost here!
Mt. Zion’s 2010 Vacation Bible will have a mountain climbing theme. Students will go to Mt. Sinai as Moses receives the law. They will sit on the mountain side to hear Jesus preach and they will be there when He is transfigured, when He is crucified and for His ascension. Of course, they will hear the Gospel as it applies to each of these historical accounts and to their lives. Lessons will relate to chief parts of Luther’s Small Catechism.
The program, which is offered at no cost again this year, will run from June 21 to June 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Each morning will begin with a chapel service and end with lunch. This course promises to be both fun and educational for children from 3 years through 6th grade. Let us know you’re coming!
